Terms of Service

1. Overview

Kapoot is a free information service provided by Orbit Solutions that aggregates and displays publicly available notices about electricity and water outages from Croatian utility companies. By using the Kapoot mobile application or the kapoot.app website (together, the "Service") you agree to these Terms.

2. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We scrape publicly available data from third-party utility websites and present it in a more convenient form. We do our best to keep the information accurate and up to date, but:

  • We cannot guarantee that every outage will be reflected in the Service, nor that it will be reflected on time.
  • We cannot guarantee that scheduled outages will actually happen, or happen as originally announced.
  • The official utility source is always authoritative — we link to it on every disruption page.

Do not rely on Kapoot alone for life-critical decisions. If you operate medical equipment, critical infrastructure, or have other safety needs, always verify directly with the relevant utility provider.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orbit Solutions is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages from inaccurate, delayed, or missing outage information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Scrape or bulk-download content from the Service (we aggregate public data — go to the original sources if you need it)
  • Impersonate Kapoot or Orbit Solutions

5. Intellectual Property

The Kapoot name, logo, and software are owned by Orbit Solutions. The underlying disruption data is owned by its original publishers (HEP ODS, water utilities, etc.).

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
