Kapoot is a free service by Orbit Solutions d.o.o.

What we do

Kapoot aggregates publicly available infrastructure disruption notices — electricity outages from HEP ODS and water outages from municipal utility companies — and presents them to Croatian residents in a fast, searchable, and localized way. The service is available as a mobile app (iOS + Android) and a website at kapoot.app.

Our goal is simple: make sure no one is surprised by a power or water outage. We monitor the official utility sources and republish the information with cleaner layout, geographic filtering, and optional push / email notifications so you hear about a scheduled outage before it affects you.

Who we are

Orbit Solutions d.o.o. is a software development company based in Zadar, Croatia, registered with the Commercial Court in Zadar (Trgovački sud u Zadru).

How the service is funded

Kapoot is free to install and use for browsing current and upcoming disruptions. Unlimited push notifications and advanced street-level tracking are available through an affordable in-app subscription, which covers our hosting, notification delivery, and ongoing development.

Data sources

All disruption information on Kapoot is scraped from publicly available official sources — HEP ODS (hep.hr) and municipal water utilities across Croatia. We do not alter the underlying data; we reformat and aggregate it. Each disruption page links back to its official source.
